Assassin’s Creed: Unity for some it’s considered the odd one out in the hugely popular Ubisoft series, but has the game improved over time?
Released in 2014, one thing that’s fair to say about Ubisoft’s game Assassin’s Creed: Unity This is because when it was launched, its reputation was damaged due to some unfortunate bugs. Personally, I never experienced anything revolutionary and for the most part it was an enjoyable game.

When it launched, you probably saw a few images circulating on social media that can only be described as glitchy skull faces. In truth, this issue was probably only experienced by a handful of players, but these viral images arguably blew things up.
That being said, Assassin’s Creed: Unity has been a good game for a while and it even looks and plays better thanks to backwards compatibility on Xbox Series X|S. However, one modder took matters into his own hands and made this game one of the best entries in years and, best of all, it’s free.
Naturally, if you own a PC, almost every video game should perform at its best, at least in theory. That doesn’t mean high-end PCs are immune to bugs and glitches, though. However, if you believe that the PC port of Assassin’s Creed Unit has been discontinued, then the ‘ACUFIXES’ mod is for you.
Available for download now via Nexusmods, created by NameTaken3125, this mod brings a whole host of improvements to users’ quality of life. Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Improvements include improved parkour and combat gameplay, even equipping weapons and gear is much easier. It even adds a wider field of view, new weather controls and much more.
